   Step-by-step instructions :

1 . Invoke Clear View Buffer using one (1) of the following methods:

Method 1 : Click the Clear View Buffer icon, which is pictured above. The icon can be taken from the group named ' View ' (Modeling) or ' View ' ( Drawing Editor ) and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).

Method 2 : If the " Modeling layout style " or " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose View > Clear View Buffer .

Method 3, 4 or 5 : Undo View Change can also be configured to be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the lightning interface, this configuration is done using Customize Interface . The default keyboard shortcut is c u , which stands for "clear undo."

Method 6 : With Navigate Mode or Nav Once mouse bindings active, right-click ( Undo ).

2 . Modeling or the Drawing Editor forgets its internal record of the up-to-twenty view transformations you have made in your current view or drawing.

Note 1: If you Undo View Change after doing a Clear View Buffer , the display does not revert back to the previous view. If you then do a view transformation followed by Undo View Change , the display reverts back to the way it was before the view transformation.

Note 2: The buffer of up-to-twenty view changes is lost when you exit Modeling or the Drawing Editor . It is lost when you change drawings in the Drawing Editor .
